Veterinarian/Owner
Dr. Holly Jenkins
Dr. Jenkins joined the Advanced Veterinary Services family in March 2013. She grew up in Ashland, but practiced in Lexington, KY after graduating from Auburn University in 2004. She has a daughter named Aspen and many pets on her farm – including horses, dogs, cats, a rabbit, and a cockatoo. She enjoys riding horses and any outdoor activity with her daughter.

Office Manager/Veterinary Technician
Meghan Schmidt, LVT
Meghan has been employed with Advanced Veterinary Services since June of 2010. She is a 2010 graduate of Morehead State University where she obtained her associates degree in veterinary technology and a bachelors degree in animal science. Meghan has many fur babies that include 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a Chincoteague pony. When she isn’t working, Meghan enjoys camping, hiking, gardening, and making memories with her family.

Danielle McHenry
Danielle has been with Colonial Animal Clinic since 2019. She attended Morehead State University and obtained her associates degree in behavioral science. Dani loves traveling and being adventurous. She has 3 fur babies that include Rocco (Brindle Boston Terrier/Pug Mix), Rhodey (American Eskimo), and Rexers (Pomeranian).

Kayla Chambers
Kayla graduated from Marshall University with her bachelors in biology and minor in chemistry. She has worked with animals since 2017. In her spare time she loves to study ornithology, travel, and work as a wedding photographer. Her cat Sawyer is the light of her life, but she also has 2 dogs (Indy and Abe), 2 more cats (Braveheart and Hollis), 3 rats (Daisy, Inna, Rodeo), and 1 boyfriend (Clark).
